A collection of pics of UCSB students attending the Telluride Film Festival, meeting major movie stars and seeing Oscar nominated movies long before they are released. In 2007, Telluride audiences were the first to give "Juno" a major thumbs-up and attend a one-on-one with Daniel Day Lewis and Thomas Dean Anderson who presented an early cut of "There Will Be Blood"; in 2006, they attended the premier of "Capote" and met Seymour Hoffman as well as the director and screenwriter. They also attended the premier and met the stars of the Oscar winner, "The Lives of Others." In 2005, they were among the first to see "Brokeback Mountain." Other stars who they crossed paths with included: Gael Garcia Barnal, Forrest Whittaker, Faye Dunaway, Penelope Cruz, Laura Linney, Ken Burns, Peter Sellars and Sean Penn.
