The department has produced an amazing array of alumni. They have gone on to make major accomplishments in the field of media production, education and research. Collectively they have found accolades in the fields of writing, directing, and producing for film and television. They have founded, programmed, and promoted some of the countries most prestigious film festivals. Many have carved very successful careers in the field of popular music. Our alumni have been very actively involved in every aspect of Reality programming from its inception to its current boom. They have spread out into the worlds of video game design and programming to comic book and graphic novel production. Many have continued on in the education field and are presently teaching at universities across the country.

Our alumni are a vital part of our department.  Many make appearances as guest lecturers in classes, attend our spring career panels, screen their recent projects, or take part in conferences and student club events. They also keep in contact with each other through a department-hosted list-serve and through our regular networking gatherings in Los Angeles.
