SHORT BIO

Whether his lens is capturing environmental, humanitarian or cultural stories, his work demonstrates the power of good storytelling. Chris has been behind the lens of several award-winning films including Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars (2005), Riverwebs (2007), The Matador (2008), CAFWA (2010), narrated by Oprah Winfrey and Marley (2012). His work has aired on PBS, A&E, Discovery, The History Channel, The Travel Channel and The Sundance Channel, among others. Prior to receiving his Masters degree in Documentary Film & Video from Stanford University, Chris worked with Sudanese refugees in East Africa as a United Nations Volunteer and orphaned children in southern Chile as an Ambassadorial Scholar.
