Nancy Kawalek

BRIEF BIO:
Nancy Kawalek is a Studio Professor in the Film Studies Department and the Media Arts & Technology Program. She is the Founder/Director of the Professional Artists Lab, an artisitic laboratory in which professionals in film, theatre, television, radio and media arts create and develop new projects and ideas. Ms. Kawalek is a professional New York theatre-trained actor with 25 years’ experience, including work On and Off Broadway and in regional theatre. She has acted in film, TV, and numerous commercials, as well as on National Public Radio’s acclaimed “Selected Shorts” series. Among Ms. Kawalek’s credits as a director is the documentary film, “Lost and Found.”
