Maria Corrigan

Maria Corrigan is a PhD candidate in the department of Film and Media Studies at University of California, Santa Barbara and a UC President’s Graduate Fellow in the Humanities (2013-2014). She received her MA in Film Studies from Emory University in 2008. Her dissertation, “Soviet Eccentrism: ‘A Can-Can on the Tightrope of Logic,” explores the history and legacy of the Factory of the Eccentric Actor. Her work has been published in Television and New Media, the International Journal of Cultural Research, and in n+1.
