Brief Bio:  
D.J. Palladino, producer of the Magic Lantern Films series, is also an arts journalist and film reviewer. Former arts editor of the Santa Barbara Independent where he won state-wide awards twice, he is currently a finalist for a national award from the Association of Alternative Newspapers for an article about UCSB Film Studies grad Don Hertzfeldt. He also writes for Santa Barbara Magazine and the indiewire web site.
