Bachelor of Arts - Film and Media Studies

All courses used to satisfy the requirements must be taken for a letter grade. To graduate with a B.A. degree a student must maintain a grade-point average of 2.0 (C) or better in the major. The upper-division Film and Media core courses (101ABCT and 192AB) require a minimum of a C grade in FM 46. Students are advised to consult with the department academic to plan out their course of study as some of the core classes may only be offered once a year.

Students are advised to consult with the College of Letters and Science regarding general university requirements: Academic Residence; Grade-Point Average; General Education Requirements; and Unit Requirements.

There is no pre-major. Students who wish to declare the major must complete Film Studies 46 and at least one of the other classes in the preparation for the major.
