Biography
Lizzy Hogenson is a Ph.D student in Film and Media Studies at UC Santa Barbara. She holds a B.A. in Middle Eastern History from Bryn Mawr College, an M.S.L.S in Library Science, with a specialization in archiving, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and an M.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of Southern California. Her research interests span bodies in new medias, historical memory (collective and personal), nonfiction storytelling, and the boundaries between high and low art. She is also a stop motion animator.
