Biography
Hannah Goodwin graduated from Carleton College in 2010 and received a Fulbright grant to study at the University of Vienna from 2010–2011. At UCSB, she is an editorial assistant for Camera Obscura and a member of the Media Fields collective, for which she coedited an issue on gender, sexuality, and space with Lindsay Palmer. Her dissertation looks at evolving representations and theorizations of time in two intersecting discourses—cosmological and cinematic—from cinema’s emergence to the end of the Second World War.
