The Pedagogy of the Piratical
This chapter argues that the study of transnational cinemas cannot proceed at this point without accounting for the centrality of piratical infrastructures, agencies, and practices within all media formations. Indeed, humanistic enquiries in general must attend to the epistemological and political lessons of the piratical in order to remain relevant.
